OVERVIEW

BAMESA is one of the international leaders in Steel Service Centers located in seven countries with a processing capacity of over 2,5 million tons per year of flat carbon steel, and production facilities covering a total area of more than 700,000 sq m.

Bamesa Steel owns a factory in Topoloveni, strategically located 25 km from the Dacia plant.  At the end of 2012, the company launched a storage hall located in Craiova, to serve the production of the B-Max Ford

Conarg was responsible with the electrical system of the project, which included: 

• Installed electrical power (phase one) - 0.35 MW
• Medium Voltage (20kV) - 3 x 24kV medium voltage cells & 1 x 630kVA 20/0.4kV dry transformer (enveloped)
• Switchboards 1xMDB / 630A, 7 x SDB & EDB
• 10kVA UPS
• 100kVA Genset
• Fire detection system - fire smoke detectors
• Control access system
• CCTV system
• Structured cabling system - 2 cabinets.

HVAC

• Heating by radiant tubes with direct burning
• Mechanical ventilation

EQUIPMENT

• Two bridge cranes - 32 tones each/30 m span
